Races during the Marmotte weekend
The Marmotte weekend offers several different distances, making the event accessible to both experienced cyclists and those who want to try a shorter, but still challenging, Granfondo.
• Marmotte Granfondo Alpes – 174 km, approx. 5,000 m elevation gain
The classic main race with Glandon, Télégraphe, Galibier, and Alpe d’Huez.
• Marmotte Mediofondo – approx. 130 km, approx. 3,500–3,800 m elevation gain
A shorter but still very tough race with less elevation gain and a shorter finish.
• Marmotte Ultrafondo – approx. 225 km, approx. 6,300 m elevation gain
The most extreme option for those who want a really big challenge.
• Marmotte Rando – 174 km bike ride on the same route (non-competitive class)
For those who want to ride the race at their own pace, without official timing.
