TRAVEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SPORTIVO TRAVEL
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PACKAGE TRAVEL
The trip is subject to the general terms and conditions of the Swedish Travel Agency and Tour Operator Association (SRF), agreed upon within the industry on June 28, 2018 (revised on May 20, 2021), as well as Sportivo Travel's special terms and conditions, which are set out below in section 13.
Sportivo Travel has the right to apply special conditions that deviate from the general conditions if this is justified by the nature of the trip, special transport regulations (e.g. scheduled flights), special accommodation conditions or other specific circumstances at the destination. These may not conflict with the law on package tours to the detriment of the traveller.
Travel Guarantee Sportivo Travel has provided a statutory travel guarantee with the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency in accordance with the Travel Guarantee Act. This means that you, as a traveler, are financially protected if a trip cannot be completed due to the organizer's insolvency. The guarantee covers, among other things, reimbursement of advance payments and, if necessary, repatriation.

The general and special terms and conditions form part of the agreement.
1. THE AGREEMENT
1.1 The agreement becomes binding for both parties when Sportivo Travel has confirmed the traveller's order in writing. The right of withdrawal does not apply to package travel agreements.
1.2 The main traveller is the person in whose name the agreement has been entered into. The main traveler is responsible for payment, any changes, and for providing correct information for all participants.
1.3 If the traveler is under 18 years of age and traveling without a guardian, this must be stated at the time of booking. Some trips may have a higher age limit.
1.4 The departure and return times stated in the booking confirmation are preliminary and will be specified no later than 20 days before departure.
1.5 Sportivo Travel shall provide general information about passport and visa requirements and health regulations for the destination.
1.6 The traveler shall check the booking confirmation as soon as possible. Any costs incurred as a result of incorrect information (e.g. name changes on airline tickets) shall be borne by the traveler, unless the error is attributable to Sportivo Travel or its supplier.
1.7 The main traveler must immediately notify Sportivo Travel of any changes to their address, email, telephone number, or other important information.
1.8 Certain trips require a minimum number of participants, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
1.9 Airline tickets must be used in the correct order; otherwise, the remaining parts will be canceled.
2. PRICE AND PAYMENT
2.1 The total price of the trip must be clearly stated, including all mandatory fees.
2.2 Payment must be made in accordance with the agreement. In the event of non-payment, Sportivo Travel may terminate the agreement and charge reasonable compensation.
2.3 All prices are per person. Exceptions may apply to group bookings, corporate events, or other special arrangements where a total or group price has been agreed separately.
2.4 A registration fee (deposit) must be paid within 7 days of booking.
2.5 For trips within Europe, the registration fee is normally SEK 4,500 per person. For certain arrangements, especially event trips where the starting point is included, a higher registration fee may apply. The exact amount is stated at the time of booking.
2.6 For trips outside Europe, the registration fee is SEK 8,000 per person.
2.7 If the cost of the flight ticket exceeds the regular registration fee, the flight ticket must be paid in full at the time of booking.
2.8 Final payment must be made no later than 45 days before departure. For trips that include accommodation on trains or boats, 65 days applies.
2.9 Bookings made later than 45 or 65 days before departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.
2.10 If payment is not received more than two days after the due date, Sportivo Travel has the right to cancel the booking.
2.11 In the event of any price adjustments, the exchange rate on the payment date for the final payment will be used.
2.12 All prices are quoted in Swedish kronor (SEK) unless otherwise stated.
3. PASSENGER'S RIGHT TO CHANGE AND CANCEL
3.1 Changes may be made if Sportivo Travel agrees to this, subject to any additional costs that may arise in connection with the change.
3.2 The following costs apply in the event of cancellation:
– More than 60 days before departure: The traveler pays the full registration fee (this is always non-refundable).
– Between 60 and 46 days: 25% of the trip price + the registration fee
– Between 45 and 31 days: 50% of the trip price + the registration fee
– Between 30 and 15 days: 75% of the trip price + the registration fee
– 14 days or less: 100% of the trip price
3.3 Cancellations must be made using Sportivo Travel's cancellation form on the website or according to the instructions in the booking confirmation. The cancellation is valid once Sportivo Travel has confirmed it in writing.
3.4 Starting places, competition fees, specially booked airline tickets, and other non-refundable components are not refundable in the event of cancellation, regardless of the time of cancellation.
3.5 In the event of illness or other valid reason for cancellation, the traveler is advised to contact their insurance company or use their cancellation insurance.
3.6 Any administrative costs incurred in connection with cancellation may be added.
3.7 It is the traveler's responsibility to have valid travel insurance and other necessary coverage, including cancellation insurance and insurance for sports or event participation, prior to the trip.
4. TRAVEL INSURANCE AND PROTECTION
4.1 It is the responsibility of each traveler to take out and hold a valid, comprehensive travel insurance policy that corresponds to the nature and scope of the arrangement prior to departure.
4.2 The insurance must cover illness, accident, injury, theft, repatriation, and cancellation or delayed arrival.
4.3 For sports and event trips that include participation in sporting activities (e.g., cycling races, ski races, running races, or similar), the insurance should explicitly cover participation in competitions or exercise events.
4.4 Sportivo Travel is not responsible for costs, damages, or losses incurred as a result of the traveler not having valid or sufficient insurance.
4.5 The traveler is responsible for checking with their insurance company that the insurance covers the destination, activities, and entire travel period.
5. THE PASSENGER'S RIGHT TO TRANSFER THE CONTRACT
5.1 The agreement may be transferred to another party who meets the conditions, provided that Sportivo Travel is notified in good time.
5.2 Sportivo Travel may charge a reasonable fee for the transfer, corresponding to the actual costs incurred.
5.3 The transferor and transferee are jointly and severally liable for any remaining payments and costs.
6. CHANGES BEFORE DEPARTURE
6.1 Sportivo Travel may make changes to the agreement; the traveler must be clearly informed.

6.3 In the event of a significant change (e.g., price increase of more than 8%), the traveler has the right to terminate the agreement without a cancellation fee.
6.4 Both the traveler and the organizer may terminate the agreement if the package tour is significantly affected by unavoidable and extraordinary events.
6.5 Minor changes to transport times or practical details that do not significantly affect the execution of the trip do not entitle the traveler to compensation.
7. THE ORGANIZER'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PACKAGE TOUR
7.1 If a travel service is not performed in accordance with the agreement, Sportivo Travel shall remedy the defect within a reasonable time, unless this is impossible or would entail disproportionate costs.
7.2 In the event of significant defects, equivalent alternatives shall be offered or price reductions/compensation shall be paid in accordance with the law.
8. ABOUT PRICE REDUCTIONS AND DAMAGES
8.1 The traveler is entitled to a price reduction or compensation only if the fault is not attributable to the traveler, an unrelated third party, or extraordinary events.
8.2 Sportivo Travel's liability is limited to three times the price of the package tour, except in the case of personal injury or damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
8.3 Claims for compensation must be made in writing within a reasonable time after returning home.
